Undergraduate Internships

Application Deadline for Summer 2009: April 30

The Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology (PMCB) Program at the University of Florida offers a Research Internship Program for students who have a keen interest in pursuing a PhD or MS degree in the plant molecular sciences.

Student interns work closely with PMCB faculty members on laboratory research projects and learn a variety of experimental rationales and designs as well as how to execute molecular, genetic, and biochemical techniques.

These full-time internships carry a stipend of $3,000 ($300/week for 10 weeks) for a Fall or Spring Semester or for the two Summer terms. Some adjustments in arrival and departure times can be made to accommodate students’ academic schedules. Students pursuing B.
